One of my favorite colors to wear in any capacity is mustard.  I don't know why!  Probably because I like the color of sun and sunsets and that it looks good against my skin tone.  Its brings a brightness out within me.  Even though its warming up it still gets cold and then I have to retreat to wearing hats, or gloves.  Like I said before, its not that I don't mind I am just sooo ready for my toes to come out and party.  The weather has been teasing us as of late, but it just doesn't stay around__hence the hat.  A lovely mustard hat that I do have a matching scarf to go with that i got as a Christmas present from my brother-in-laws Mother!!!  She made it for me herself so its kinda a one of a kind.  There was some really fly mustard accessories this past winter at www.modcloth.com that I was totally looking into buying before I got blessed with this jewel!  Which leads me to my next current, huge obsession.....This brown, goes with everything, so i must wear it everyday messenger bag from Target!!!!!  LOVE, Love, love it!!!  OMG!  I saw it and feel in-love and immediately bought it.  I've gotten so many compliments on it, especially the popular, "Where did u get...?"  I cut them off and say Target (pronounced Tarjae) and since I've gotten it, it has not left my side!!!  I must stress the fact that Target has some real nice stuff__for all sizes and most big girls can probably fit in their main range sizes as well.  Target is definitely a stop of mine once every 2 to 3 weeks!  I paired this simple look with these moccasin type shoes/boots I got from Target a couple of years ago!  I got a lot of compliments in this simple casual look!  U can be casual and cute remember that ladies!

The Weekender!!! The outfit!

Hey guys!  Thanks for still checking in!  I was just Chill-Axing this weekend and wanted to share my no stress, kick around outfit.  Nothing too special, but I actually get a lot of compliments on this top I picked up from Torrid, so what do you think.  Green has been a popular color on here as of late.  And even tho I love my Uggs more than anything, I stay getting a pedicure because I'm dying for my toes to come out and play!!!  They are getting real ansy.  But its still a lil cool here in the Tri-state but the clocks are being set back, or up, I never really know.  Either way Spring save me!!!

Hey guys!  Over the weekend, I guess you can say I was partying hard.  But I think I looked fabulous doing it, and wanted to post these pics.  I wish I could have gotten a real good full body pic, but Next time I will. 

I also wanted to share some other things going on in my life as of late.  I just finished doing a Cabaret in New York, I am in rehearsal for the musical "Once on this Island" that will open in Jersey City, NJ in April, and quite possibly could be in a interview sometime soon.  I am super excited for the spring, I am really done with this weather.  It was quite the winter here in the Tri-state area, with the snow and snow days.  So when their was a glimmer of hope for spring last week I went shopping and will soon show you some of the new things I picked up along the way.

Have A Happy Hump Day!

Hello there beautiful people.  I'm back with record timing!  Its been a pretty fierce winter out here in the Tri-State area.  I've been braving the winter armed with the best Christmas gift a Aunt could ever get you.  A duffle coat by Guess from Macy's!!!  I love this coat.  Super warm, stylish, even skinny girls want the skinny on wear I got it.  But underneath it all is my plaid tunic from Evans.  I've had this piece for some time now, just never had anyone around to snap some pics of me in it.  I think this is more of a dressed down look, but in the winter that's kind of my thing.  During this season I look for the 3 C's!!!  Cute, comfortable and cozy!!!  I think this look did it!  I was drawn to the tunic because it had a warm, relaxed yet stylish feel.  And for the GA-ZILLION of these shirts parading down the streets worldwide, it was only at Evans that I could find one with such a color and print.  I hope u likey!!!!!   :)

O Yea!  Please tell me you love this on the shoulder messanger bag!!!  I can fit my life in there, I love the color its good with like any season and its super cute!  And it was only $10!!!!

Im Still Here!

Hey guys!  I guess you can say I've still been on Hiatus 4 the past month or so!  True Story...I have been.  Really busy, going through some things, starting school again, and about to start rehearsal on another show.  More that I will talk about here on my blog in upcoming post.  I will definitely be posting more regularly now, life is coming back to normal. 


I went out with my friends recently, we had a fun time bowling...!  A few drinks, a few sore losers (a.k.a. Me) but we had a blast.

Holiday Dinner!!! In Red...

Hey guys!  Me and my gang at school got together and had a multi-cultural Thanksgiving!!!  I know the pictures are a little late, but I rounded up all that I can.  We had a festive nite with all types of food!  Of course the usuals, like Turkey, Stuffing (it was amazing), Mac & Cheese, Candied Yams (DELICIOUS), Ham, and Green Bean Casarole.  But there was some other amazing food there too!  Empanadas, Fried Chicken, Arroz y pollo, Tamales, Seafood salad Jamacian style and tons and tons of sweets!!!  (SO YUM)  Not too mention the everlasting supply of alcohol!!!

Yea it was a crazy nite to say the least.  To say the most would take 4ever!  So lets talk about what I wore...

I found this red blazer a little while ago at the same time I scored that bright green blazer from the post here http://thickdaddys.blogspot.com/2010/10/green-with-envy.html.  It was only $2.99 from The Red,White and Blue and I styled it in all black!  A black halter dress that I've had from Old Navy a few years ago, leggings from Forever 21 plus, Dolce Vita boots from Target, skinny black and gold belt from Torrid, I used my Old Navy clutch that I used here http://thickdaddys.blogspot.com/2010/08/forever-21-amanda-pt1.html.  That I thought was such a nice contrast becasuse it was still shiney but not accented with all the other gold!!!  I love this outfit, Im definitely going to wear it again before the new year and I got a lot of compliments.  It just came 2gether, like most of my succesful outfits.  I get out the shower, beautify myself and go with how I feel that day.  Thats why packing for a trip or vacation is sooo hard and I usually take too many things!  I hope U guys like this pic and don't forget to enter the contest to win the ASOS dress!!!
